Optical Fiber Closure

Optical fiber closure is used for protecting the optical fiber fusion splicing head between two different optical cables; a reserved section of optical fiber will be kept in the closure for maintenance purposes. Optical fiber closure is divided into two types: joint box and Terminal Box, joint box is used for protecting the connection between two optical fiber cables, while Terminal Box is used for a cable terminal or to protect the connection between optical fiber and jumper.

Composite Core Soft Aluminum Stranded Wire

The composite core soft aluminum strand is a composite material whose center is drawn by carbon fiber, glass fiber, and thermosetting resin, and the core member plays a load-bearing role. The effective operating temperature of traditional steel-cored aluminum stranded wire does not exceed 100℃, while the strength is increased by less than 2 times. It sags by 1/2 under high temperature, and the weight per unit length is 10-20% lighter, which avoids galvanic corrosion between different metals.
