Specification
Aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) is a type of reinforced conductor with a single layer or multiple layers of aluminum strand stranded outside the galvanized steel wire, it is mainly applied to the power and transmission line industry. For the transmission line with high voltage, due to the limited line path, and multiple lines cannot be erected in a single path, people figured out to adopt a single path and a single tower to hang multiple conductors, as in the function of a single line is equivalent to that of several lines. As for the transmission line of 500KV, hanging four conductors is mostly adopted in our country, which is called erection with sharing the same tower.ACSR has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient erection, and maintenance, low cost of the line, large transmission capacity, conducive to the erection at the rivers and valleys and other places under special geographical conditions, good conductivity, sufficient mechanical strength, high tensile strength, and amplification of the distance between towers, etc., Therefore, it is widely applied to the overhead transmission and distribution lines with various voltage levels.
