On 6 June 2024, the Company joined hands with Leading Fibre Technology (Nantong) Co., Ltd (referred to as: Leading Fibre Technology) and Jinan University to help China Mobile to open the world's first 800G hollow-core fibre optic transmission technology test network (Shenzhen-Dongguan, Guangdong).

The test network in the 20km link to achieve the empty core - empty core fibre fusion splicing loss as low as 0.05dB, empty core - real core connection is less than 0.3dB, as well as after the laying of the cable loss per kilometre of 0.6dB and other core technical indicators, are up to the international first-class level.

This milestone test not only marks a major breakthrough in the field of hollow-core optical fibre communication technology in China, but also lays a solid foundation for the in-depth development of future optical communication networks.
